Banning the Plastic Water Bottle & Bottled Water Culture

There are a lot of things that people used to do that they don’t do anymore, that are frowned upon. For example, women were once banned from certain careers and educational paths, and even sometimes banned from working if they were married or pregnant. But there’s one change that’s overtaking our culture in a good way, and that’s the move to start doing something — as much as we can — about climate change, trash, and more.

One of the key ethos of this is trying to throw away less and trying to consume less that may be disposable. That’s because the trash we generate ends up somewhere, and a lot of it ends up in oceans or ever-growing landfills. And plastic, for example, is a huge commodity that can be reduced. Cities and countries are already moving in that direction with things like plastic bags, and now others are taking a focus on plastic water bottles. What do you need to know? This graphic helps.
